The canopy that is included with this pergola is weatherproof and is ideal for providing shade from hot sun or some protection from unexpected showers.

Please note: The canopy should be rolled to the side when not in use and covered with the protective sheeting. During October-March, the manufacturer recommends taking the pergola down and storing inside.
